Tired of donating cash and wondering if it helped?

Most giving platforms send cash and call it done. We pay the landlord, the grocery store, the childcare center — and show you the receipt.

Funds go directly to providers, never as cash to families. Every purchase is verified. You see exactly what your donation bought.

Simple. Verified. Visible.

Your donation funds real purchases at real providers. Families choose what they need. You see what was bought.

1

Families join through a partner

Families connect through a union, community college, or health provider and build a list of what they need.

2

Family and donor fund together

When a family is ready to buy, they contribute their share and your donation covers the rest. The provider is paid directly.

3

You see the receipt

Every transaction is verified and recorded. Your dashboard shows what was bought, where, and when.

Families aren't recipients. They're participants.

When a family makes a purchase, they contribute their own share. Your donation covers the rest. Families choose what they need, decide when to spend, and build real financial confidence in the process.

This is what The Family Capital Foundation means in practice. Not charity. Capital — real purchasing power, in families' hands.

Real people. Real purchases. Real difference.

Families don't receive cash. They receive purchasing power — at the grocery store, the childcare center, the landlord's office.

I was working full time and still couldn't afford childcare. My caseworker told me about this program. Within a week the center was paid directly. I didn't have to handle any money. I just dropped my kids off.

No quarterly reports. No guessing. A dashboard showing exactly what your money bought.

I've given to nonprofits for twenty years and never knew what happened to the money. With The Family Capital Foundation I watched $5,000 pay for groceries, rent, and childcare in real time. That changed everything.
Our foundation has strict proof-of-use requirements. Most nonprofits can't meet them. The Family Capital Foundation gave us transaction-level records in real time. It's the most accountable giving vehicle we've found.
I set up a monthly gift and forgot about it — in the best way. Every quarter I get a report showing what my money paid for. It feels like an investment that actually works.

Things donors often ask.
Is my donation really tax-deductible?
Yes. The Family Capital Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations are tax-deductible. A receipt is emailed immediately after every gift with all information needed for tax filing.
Why don't families receive cash?
Direct provider payments ensure compliance with grant programs that also contribute to the pool. It also means your donation can only be used for its intended purpose — a rent payment goes to the landlord, a grocery order goes to the store.
How do I give from my donor-advised fund?
Use the "Recommend a grant" button. We integrate with all major DAF sponsors via Chariot — including Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and Vanguard Charitable. For named program arrangements, contact grants@familycapitalfoundation.org.
How is The Family Capital Foundation related to Dopple?
They are separate legal entities with a shared infrastructure. Dopple is the for-profit fintech company that builds and operates the transaction rail. The Family Capital Foundation is the 501(c)(3) arm that accepts tax-deductible donations and deploys them through that rail. Data shared between the two is aggregate only — no personally identifiable information is passed.
Ready to give with proof?

Every dollar goes directly to a verified family purchase. You see exactly what it bought.

All donations tax-deductible · receipt sent instantly · no cash to families

We built the infrastructure. Now we're funding it.

The Family Capital Foundation is the 501(c)(3) philanthropic arm of the Dopple ecosystem. We exist to put donor capital — from individuals, DAFs, and foundations — directly into the hands of families who need it most. Not as cash. As verified purchases, paid directly to providers at the moment of need.

Family capital means families have real purchasing power when they need it most.

Most charitable giving moves slowly, reports poorly, and arrives too late. The Family Capital Foundation was built to solve both problems simultaneously. When a donor gives, their dollars enter a verified pool. When a family makes an eligible purchase, the provider is paid directly. The donor sees a record of that transaction within minutes.

No cash to families. No delays. No guessing. Just proof.
